Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
hey guys i have an 87 4 runner 4cyl 22RE. I have been having trouble with it not starting lately. When i turn the key i get a click and high pitched noise from the passenger side kick panel on the interior. Some times it starts right up and others, it won't startat all. I have a feeling it may be the Neutral safety switch but am not sure where it is, or how to check it. any suggestions?? thanks jay

Those rarely go bad. That noise you're hearing is your starter. READ THIS <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> Also check your battery and starter cables to make sure they're clean and secured.
