Need a Spot
This is probably a stupid question since I have never seen it on this forum, but I need to know. When going S.A.S. how do you hook up the SOTF? I assume this function is no longer available, and you just manually lock or unlock the front hubs. I just never see this talked about with S.A.S. writups. Let me know what I am missing.

Thanks

Roll Me Over
I think the big thing you are missing is that most SAS'd rigs are not daily drivers and don't need nor want the shift on the fly system.

IMHO it's just something to break. I got rid of mine a while back. I have manual hubs anyway.

You COULD still use it, but you'd need to run with your hubs in all the time.

Body Damage is Cool
I guess you could use one of the d44's with the CAD and drive flanges, but it wouldn't be an ideal setup as far as simplicity and durability are concerned. I guess it would depend on some factors such as tire size, what kind of abuse you want to put it through, etc.
