Getting the Wheeling Fever
Any recommendations for lodging during the ZuZoo event in May? I've been camping at Portal for last few years, but I'd like to stay in a motel this year. Appreciate if anyone know any good deals.

I think Michael Wood stays at the Redstone. We are basing at Archview Campround, just North of town. They do have cabins. Not quite a hitel but definetely not camping.

Roll Me Over
Last year I stayed at a motel, the best deal I found was the Silver Sage, on the south end of town. It is not much to look at from the outside, but it was clean, comfortable, and perfectly adequate for my purposes. I was able to get a reduced weekly rate with reduced housekeeping. They also allow pets.

Eiji, I have stayed at the Riverside Inn for the last two years, it is just south of the Portal campground, clean and quiet and fridges in all rooms, I will probably stay there this year also. (435) 259-8848 it was $73 a day last year and I think that is the going rate around town.

Steve's and Reid,

Thank you all for the info. Looks like Archview Campgound's basic cabin and Silver Sage are all booked. They still had some tent sites available at Archview. Checked some motel listings, and so far the best price is $54/night. Hope I can make to Moab this year; it depends on the current project at work that I may have to be on a business trip around ZuZoo time. Trying to make it a week before or after the ZuZoo week, but I can't be sure util April. Hope to see you all again.

Eiji, try contacting Biju over on Vehicross.info. I believe he has a cabin at the Archview that he has decided not to use. He was looking for someone to take the reservation...not sure if it is still available.

If you try Archview again, make sure you tell them you are with the Isuzu Group. They may be holding them for our group.
