Kind of odd, but when I checked the brake fluid the rear part for the disc brakes was overfull and the front part for the drum brakes was half full. I corrected it and when it was checked again today the same thing. Could it be a faulty master cylinder? Or possibly the proportioning valve. It is an 84 cj7 with a 304.

84 CJ7 304 HEI 35 BFG,s rear dana 60 with detroit locker,Viar compressor, fibreglass body, 2 1/2 spring lift, TF999auto, Warn 8000 winch, Plus a cool little trailer on 35,s. JEEP stands for just empty every pocket

Perhaps you should bend down and look at the inside of the front tires.. You just may have a wheel cylinder leak..

Thanks Jim for the sage advice, I did just that and no leaking cylinders, somehow the the fluid from the small front part of the master cly seems to wind up in the larger rear part of the master.

OG if you fill them both to the top, how can it go to the back wihtout having a fluid loss?
