Getting the Wheeling Fever
A friend of mine helped me install my first aussie locker in the front, but he didn't put thrust washers in, and I didn't know what was going on.

I just finished putting in 4.88's and another aussie locker in the rear and I realized what happened. Is this something I should really be worried about, worth pulling the whole thing apart again? I never hear the front ratched like the rear, but it's worked fine, I think . . .

Need a Spot
Thrust washers must be reinstalled for a proper installation and for the warranty to be valid. Also, he needs to follow the installation manual with regard to the spacer to cross shaft and the innercam spacing, again for proper operation and warranty. If he has any questions on this contact us at engineering@aussielocker.com

I made the same mistake one with an Aussie. The result was a perma-locked rear end and wearing of the pins on that locker. IT definitely needs to be pulled apart and likely will need the pins/springs replaced. Not expensive, but driving it like that isn't a good idea.
