all you would have to do is bring it to a dealer and trade it in for one that has four wheel drive super easy or if your up for it you would have to find t-case, complete ifs, front drive shaft and there would be alot of cutting and cussing but your in luck you came to the right place for knowledge because there are many guys on here that know there sh!t but i would still recommend just finding one that already had 4x4. good luck

Either you trade it for a 4x4
OR you find a totaled one with intack everything from midle to front and do the swap... but it does not worth it

If I didn't have any money tied up in the sportage i would trade it. I've got over $1000 in accessorys from kia motors and about $1500 in upgrades (hyper voltage system, fog lights, tires, towing kit...) I just figure i've got money tied up already i might as well turn it into a 4x4 myself.

Well all that stuff can come off and be installed on a 4x4 Sporty!

This won't be a weekend project and it won't be cheap, if you don't want to do the cheap and esay way of just trading up to a 4x4 model, the best bet would be to find a wreaked Sporty with rear end damage as a donor car. But it's one task I wouldn't want to do, even if you paid me!

you could always remove all the upgrades and then trade for a 4x4 and have the joy of reinstalling it all on that vehicle.

it would almost be like you just got a new mod and your all excited to put it on all over again!!!!

how did that hyper voltage system work out for you? any difference?

Getting the Wheeling Fever
If it were me, I would put a lift on that thing and throw some serious meats on it. Here in Reno we have lots of hills and canyons, and I rarely put it in 4wheel drive... unless I'm rock crawling. . . What style driving do you do off road?

Yup it's a Kia. 4" RockSportGear lift. 31 X 10.5 tires.
