I mean do you have it off all the time, even with an empty utility trailer, or what. I have a 3.4 with auto, and it seems to shift back and forth too often even when the trailer is empty ( central texas) shllow grades. Even with heavy loads near the max, I'll be able to use OD on shallow grades and flats without issue. Kev250R Need a Spot I have a 3.0 V6 and I lock mine out of O/D whether the trailer is empty or loaded, though once in a while on flats or gentle downslopes I'll sometimes bump it back into O/D, probably 90% of the time it's towing I have it locked out of O/D.
