Getting the Wheeling Fever
Just got back from ocotillo, it was a blast! all the dirtbikers were struck with awe when i did some rockcrawling with my new 4.88's and lockers

Anyway I was the only wheeler there so most of the time i was thrashing around n goin fast and the tabs on the float got bent and I was severely lacking power and bucking. so I had to pull the carb apart and rebend 'em. This happened last time I wwent to the desert.

Anyway, has this happened to anyone else is it normal? Or do I need to replace the float?

Body Damage is Cool
Never heard of this happening.. if it keeps happening I would think the metal on the float is weakened and needs to be replaced.

You guys are more deft than me, 'cause I can't for the life of me adjust the float. Seems I can't get the right bend on that tab. Always end up with a gas level way-too-high .
For me: if it's within the ballpark, DFWI !
