Need a Spot
I have a 1988 Auto trans Monty.
My question is about the trans and the engine, I was thinking about doing an engine swap on it to a 6g7* (either a 4 or 2 with a turbo.)
I live in California, will there be a problem with emissions? OBD2 and OBD1, whats up with that?
and will it bolt right up to my auto tranny? I just want to make sure I know what I am getting in to and what problems I should expect to run in to along the way.
thanks in advance <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" />

There has been alot on here latley about engine swaps. But Most agree that changing from the 4 to a six would be harder then actually just swapping in a 4.3 chevrolet motor.
