Also, lets remember...

Glocks are Austrian made

...and it seems those Austrians are supplying .50 cal sniper rifles to Iran, and those rifles are ending up in the wrong hands in Iraq.

Keep in mind Glock does not make a .50 cal sniper rifle.
Glock is based in Smyrna, GA

Hey now...I take my stand where I can!

Lol- GLOCK, Inc. is based in GA, yes, the company GLOCK is Austrian, though...of course that whole Holocaust didn't veer people from buying Volkswagen or eating brats...I'll eat a brat or 4, but I just don't jive the 'people's car'.

Of course, I remember a friend who was going to boycott 'all DuPont products' (good luck with THAT one) because they were a French company...and SHE has a PhD in Civil Engineering...and somehow or another, my MIL has been led to believe Target is a French company too ...

The company that imports Glock is based in GA. I can assure you they are made in Austria

A weapon by itself has no political perspective, it's the policies of the company that become political. I don't blame Austria for selling 50 cal sniper rifles to Iran, it was legal. I blame Iran for giving them to the insurgents.

But it's nice to see that Pearl Harbor hasn't stopped us from buying Japanese trucks, eh?

Please don't tell my Uncle I drive a Mitsubishi. He was a WWII naval gunner and shot down many as they dive bombed and killed his friends. It isn't history if you lived it. He does drive a Subaru but can't stand Mitsubishi

Yeah a lot of guns will kaboom if you shoot a double-charged reload or don't clear a squib properly.

Any name brand firearm can Kaboom.
99.99% of the failures are due to un-authorized hot hand loads.
