Loosen a bolt, slip a belt and swing an air pump out of the way or get a bath with coolant and have to fill up and purge the engine of air (not to mention that hoses tend to weld themselves to the metal over time so they generally have to be cut off and replaced.) I'll take working, dry, from the top any day.
