Im setting my Front 4 Cyl thrid now. Im using the stock .080 pinion shim to start out. What is the reccomended pinion depth for yukon 5.29 gearsets so i dont have to keep taking the thing apart. Oh what are some home brew methods of keeping the pinoin still to get a proper backlash reading? I have been reading ZUK's site and what a help it has been. Its frustrating to do this but I want to do it and have the pride that i set up my own gears and they are right and i saved $300 per axle on labor.
