Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hi, Im looking at purchasing a V6 3.4 from a wrecked 2000 tacoma, and was wondering if any one knew where too find the VIN# on the motor.

The guy cant find the title and says he cant find a VIN. And I want too check carfax b/f I buy it too make sure its not hot.

There should be a few in plain view under the hood, like on fenders, etc. Also, check the door jams (if they are there). Or is this just the motor???

VIN is not on the engine. It's on the dash, driver's side; some also in the glass, and the pax side front tire wheel well on the frame, as well as on the front core support and other places as mentioned.
