So I'm definitely going with a weber carb, 32/36, and one that is smog legal in california.
Any idea where I can get one of those for cheap? Preferably close to california so I can get it soon.
Will I have any trouble with the smog people being stubborn and thinking I'm trying to pull a fast one on them?

Try Carbs-R-Us.
And then try Jegs or Simmit Racing for starters.

They do have a couple webbers, but not the one that I want. I might have to get one directly from weber or on ebay, but I'm tryin to find a cheap one, money doesn't grow on trees <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Will I have any trouble with the smog people being stubborn and thinking I'm trying to pull a fast one on them? Not as long as you have the C.A.R.B. sticker visible and it is hooked up according to specs.

I just was bidding on a used 38DGAS on ebay, I didn't win, that wound up going for $170. I have seen them on some of the boards going for as little as $100 used.
