I've looked at various posts on the subject, but most meander into other issues. I need quick simple advice.
I have a 1989 Gen1 LWB with 2" body lift, "neutral" IFS (not cranked).
Two questions:
1. Will 33"s on standard rims (15") fit, without rubbing?
2. If not, what width & offset will do it for me?

With a 2" body lift (as you have) 33's will easily fit. The only thing you may have to do is bend the splash shields in the forward wheelwells forward slightly and trim the front bumper end-caps a little. The splash shields are at the very front of the front wheelwells and they can be bent by hand.
The rims I have are 15x8, 3.75" backspacing, -19 offset.

I must say, i have no lift at all and my 33 12.5 15 with a 0 offset fit perfect. if u turn sharp and hit a realy hard bump, the front bumper ends might touch. for me, they dont even touch during normal drivin, just when off road hitting really hard bumps.

Hi there
I am on 305/70/16 GT Radial Adventuro MTs with 2" body lift, rear shackle lift of 1" and slight crank on the IFS, maybe about 1/2". Using 16 x 8, with ZERO offset. Works great!
