I found an 85 4Runner in a salvage yard that has an auto tranny. I Would it have the same 4.37 gears as my 87 AT 4Runner?

You don't have 4.37:1 in your 4Runner, unless it was changed out in the past.

Your R&P should be 4.30:1.

The 85 would also have 4.30:1 with the auto tranny.

Heh, Thx for the correct numbers. As with the ? about swapping bucket seats, this is for a resto project on an 83 SR5 longbed in my backyard, minus its powerplant. Older Toy parts are fairly scarce in my area so I was a happy camper to find 2 4runners at a salvage yard in Wichita where I pick up crushed cars m-f. The 85 4runner is missing it's motor and I'd love to bring it home, just can't afford another project.
