Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hey guys, I've spent quite some time looking for a post here and found none.

I have a 99 Wrangler Sahara and the turn signals flash normally turning left, but way too fast turning right. (All lamps on both sides work fine) Swapped all bulbs from left to right with no change. According to schematics, the same flasher works for both side. Should I just throw a part at it and replace the flasher or is there a step I should take first?
Thanks for suggestions.

my 1990 xj did that . i changed the flashers yes both . i changed the flasher for the turn signals & for the 4 ways. then i found it to be a bad socket in the front right. change your flasher first then check your sockets.

Perhaps your Jeep is just low on Blinker light fluid!

Do I need to use regular or synthetic blinker light fluid?

Ok, I'll start with flashers and look at sockets again.

If it works in one direction correctly chances are it is OK.. I'd be cleaning the sockets and checking on grounds first.

Ok, turned out to be easy. A rear bulb was installed backwards 180 out(didn't know you could do that). The wrong filament was being used for turn signals and was drawing less current making the flash twice as fast, just like a blown bulb would do.

Just so ya know, when I pulled the bulb and checked the socket and started to reinstall, the bulb didn't seem to fit quite right so I tuned it around and the problem went away. Guess you could say it was an accidental fix.

Sometimes luck and superstition DOES win out over skill and daring!
