Need a Spot
I have already removed the broken bolt and pin. That was a pain. Now properly installing new pin? Second when this thing is all back together how do I time it? Also can the timing belt tensioner be accessed without pulling the front apart? The truck is in a very lousy location to work in and the weather has not been very compliant.
Also if any of you have had anything similar happen how did you go about it?

1989 Dodge Raider 3.0L with 5-speed.
In limbo of what to do with it.

It's quite a job -

Remove:

1) upper radiator hose
2) upper radiator shroud
3) fan clutch
4) all belts
5) fan pulley
6) P/S pump
7) P/S pump bracket
8) P/S pump mounting bracket
9) serpentine tensioner bracket ass'y
10)A/C compressor (don't disconnect hoses)
11)A/C compressor mounting bracket
12)cooling fan bracket ass'y
13)all timing belt covers
14)crankshaft pulley
15)front flange (behind the crank pulley)
16)timing belt tensioner bolt
17)timing belt
18)tensioner spring
19)timing belt tensioner

Install in reverse order of removal. I'd probably also remove the grille and radiator to have a better view and access.

There are dimple dots on the sprockets that align with hash marks on the rear sprocket covers - and there's a dimple on the crank sprocket - but beware that you can be "close", but not exactly right. I'd suggest getting a FSM copy of the timing belt installation procedure so you know the correct method of installing the belt.

Good luck,
Frank

When I replaced my heads I did not touch the power steering pump, just the belt. But I've slept since than so may have forgotten what I did.
