I'm looking for a set to put on my newly lifted T100 so I save the CV's. I don't want to buy a set from a junkyard for $50 then spend another $50 rebuilding them if I can just buy a set for $100-$150 and be done with brand new or close to new Aisin hubs. Any help?

Marlin Crawler sells the earlier straight axle version for $291... each. You don't want to know what the dealer charges!
That's why the JY is the standard recomendation. Most likely they won't even need rebuilding, but its the kind of thing where you might as well do it now and not have to do it again for another 15-20 years or so.

Wow! I figured that there must be some vendor selling them for $100 a set rebuilt, I guess not. I'll get some from a junkyard and possibly rebuild them, but maybe not, I'll only have the truck for another year or two and I only put abog 5000 miles on it per year right now. It is a 3rd car.

I bought some from an internet auction site from a dealer with a good rating. The were off a 1990 4 Runner and they were in great shape. I could have just installed them "as is", but I always have to make things harder by taking them apart and cleaning them, etc.. I also installed new gaskets and seals for under $20.00. I don't know what there is that could go wrong with them if they are off a regular street driven vehicle and didn't have leaking seals causing rust and dirt. I paid $75.00 bucks total, but I could have done better If I wanted to shop around. It was worth the extra to not leave the house.

I bought a used "spare set" off of guy on ebay and took them appart and found out that one of them is missing the tension spring. Toyota parts tells me that they do not sell the spring by it self that I need to buy $100.00 worth of parts to get it I have been very disapointed with ebay in the last year.
