Just wondering what the opinions are on lockers. Is a spool in the rear really that hard on tires?

unless your talking "trailrig only", i wouldn't recommend a spool. first off, are we talking about a daily driver, trail rig, both??? what kind of budget are you working with? there are a gazillion different options out there from "lincoln lockers to ARB's. all with pros and cons.

i know the feeling <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />! well, you definately don't want a spool in the rear of your daily driver. you'll prolly want to go with some type of limited slip. i know there's a ton of them but i myself haven't run any of them in my trail rig so i'm not too familiar with LSD's as far as which one to buy but i love the one in my Tundra. alot of my buddies run Detiot Trutrac's and haven't had any problems. i'm sure someone with more experience than myself will chime in.
