well i finally got around to putting my headers back on after finding out the test pipe provided was too short over a year ago. anyways i'm taking it in to get that fabbed up tomorrow. i'll be driving it close to 3 miles to exhaust shop in the morning w/ open headers, that should be fun.

exhaust at idle link

idle and revving link

i think it sounds horrible b/c of the sputtering after i rev it(due to the lack of backpressure i'm guessing), but sounds decent at idle.

It's got that nice dragster sound, just quieter.
It will be louder when you're driving it under load, compared to just revving it in neutral.

Once when I was going back to school...Gladewater to Abilene, about an 8 hour drive...somewhere around Terrel on I20, my exhaust fell off just in front of the cat. 7 hours of driving with that racket under my feet was pure misery. To this day, I don't like loud exhaust. I want quiet.

But that's just me. All the rest of you wanna drive around sounding like sick chain saws, you go right ahead.
