Thinking about getting a 1994 Suzuki Sidekick. What is good and what is bad about them. I know it has independent front so what needs to be done to lift it. Also is it coils all the way around. I want to make it a mild off road rig, and still be able to drive it when I need to.

ok, first you need to figur what kind of lift, from where, and which one. calmini.com and rocky-road.com are teh best! i did this first i took some hockey pucks and took all 6 body mounts apart then jacket up teh tracker and put teh pucks in place and lowered it back down on them. that gave me room to put my 30's on with no rub. then i baught calminis 3 inch lift and a 1 inch coil spacer lift. when i got them i started with teh back, jack up teh body drop the axle, take out tha springs and shocks. replace with new ones. then for front i took off tires, control arms, strearing arm, and tierods. then basiclly all you do is put the new parts on exactly how u took the old parts off! its that easy with trackers. so basicly u buy a lift and unblot ***** and bolt ***** back in, usually no modifications made at all and you can do 31"x10.50 tires

Oh just a body lift, and coil spacers. I had a brain fart, it happens a lot. What size tires can you run on it without messing with your gearing, I like to run 31" tires, but I would probably have to regear it to get it to crawl good right, or is low gear really low. Also what kind of gas milaege are you getting.

well i have the body lift, coil spacers, new coils, and new control arms and i run 30x9.50 right now cuz i used to have 31x10.50 but the little 16valve engine couldnt turn them very fast. the 30s turn great with no rub, the engine spins them just fine, and i get about 15 miles to teh gallon on road and about 6 when i mud. lol thats a tracker 4 ya but i dont care cuz i tow it everywhere
