Getting the Wheeling Fever
I understand that zu'zoo X will be based out of Arch View campground this year which is quite a few miles north of town. Just woundering what most are doing this year, not to many cabins and when I checked they were filled, I've done the motel thing in the past but now thinking of a tent. Is this place just to exposed for that, seems like the wind blows all night long. Has anyone stayed here before? just trying to plan. Thanks for any info

To the best of my knowledge, non of the group have stayed there before. I doubt that the winds will blow any more there than at the other campgrounds.

There is another post about a few people staying at hotels in town.

No website and all that stuff this year?

very unofficial runs?

What's the scoop? I plan on going but haven't seen squat about it.
Not that I come visit the darkside very often any more
Mostly just to watch Randii drive Jeeps

A bunch of Isuzu enthusiasts will be in Moab May 16-19. Most are staying at the Archview Campground. 4-wheeling will be done.

Just tell them that you are with the Isuzu group or they may not make room for you.

Updating soon, Dave... check this thread for more info: http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=993110

As fr renting... I'll drive your Jeep if you let me, but it won't be any fun, as it only has six cylinders and peaks for power well before 4000 rpm. Buy me the right beer and I'll let you drive the V8, but you'll have to rev it past 5K to get the biggest grin. The rev limiter is at 6250, but I'm still working on the break in miles.

meh... drive it like you intend to over the life (like you stole it) and dont worry about that crap (Im gonna baby it while breaking it in).

The one time I babied a break in motor, is the one motor that had issues. Just drove em like I typically do on 4 motors, and never had an issue.

I don't know what jeep you are thinking of. Mine has never had a 6. Now, if you want some good old American power we can talk. True, that it isn't a revver, but it doesn't need it since it has low end grunt.
On second thought, I doubt you'd be able to handle it since your used to....what do you call a non-running japaneese 4 cylinder?
Then again, at least you have driven a jeep. Although, it was only a rental.

Anyway, I'll be there starting sometime Wed I think. I can stay as long as I like since I have 2.5 weeks off. Jenn and the girls will be coming as well. So will the dogs (Hunter and the new one, Kirby. Yaz has gone to doggie heaven). As of right now we'll be staying in a motel, but might get a cabin at one of the other places (not Archview). Jenn nixed the pop-up for this year.

Now I just need to get a whole bunch of "little" things done to the Jeep. Good thing I have 2 more weeks of vacation coming up this wekend!

I didn't recall that you had a V8. Mine's bigger, tho. Maybe we'll find a closed course to see who's truck is running.

I look forward to seeing Jenn, the girls, and the dogs... I'll tolerate you, since you're handling delivery.

Sorry to hear about Yaz -- I bet that was a big adjustment for the family. Kammy and I love the furry, four-legged Isuzoids.

I envy your vacation!
