Funny this comes up, I'm doing my own 1" BL tomorrow.
I know you don't want to unbolt all the mounts at once, so the body dosn't slide around (that could get really bad fast!).
I've heard both to do it from rear to front (e.g., unbolt all but front, lift from behind, and work your way forward), then lift the front once rear is in place) and to do it side-to-side (e.g. do all one side, then teh other). Does it really matter?
And, are there any really good/bad jack points for that 4x4 block?

With 200+ Billion electrical parts, the world most complicated machine is inside your own skull.

Question Reality.

See my directions (link above). Loosen 1 side, then remove nuts from opposite side, lift with a jack (lifting points in the above instructions) and install the lift blocks and longer bolts. Lower and loosely install the nuts then repeat the lift on the opposite side, finally lower and tighten all the fasteners.

Leaving the bolts in place with nuts in place provides a "hinge point" for the body to pivot on, but the bolts keep it from slipping sideways off the mounts.

Body Damage is Cool
I did the method 4crawler decribed for mine. No problems at all.
Mine was a cab-only lift, but not much more to do the full thing.
