I purchased a 54mm hub socket (OTC 6612 part number).
How snug should you tork the nut on the front spindle and bearing?

I think one of my FSM's says 25ft/lbs for the inner, but I go tighter than that since my D44 manual says 50. Obviously its not real critical as long as they aren't too loose.

you overtighten it, loosen it a little bit and then torque it down. that is for the inner one. then put that star washer in there and torque the outer one. then bend the tabs on the star washer. use the torque specs in the article.
