Wayne, If you'd ever come out here to the new place you'd know my dog house is an apartment above the 3 car garage that I converted into a gym. I added a bed room suite in one corner last year and it has a full bathroom which is well stocked. Sat TV, Broadband, AC & Heat. Sigh!
When we get crossways with each other I retire there for the night. It a tough place to hang out as I haven't got the kitchen built yet. But Delivery saves the day.
And back on topic.
Last night I was thinking so hard about my new parts I couldn't sleep. And it came to me, Do you guys remember the Land Rover Serious One built over on Pirate? He spliced three Land Rover bodies and frames together to make one sweet 145" Crew Cab Land Rover Pickup. Course he boxed his bed, but since I'm into Adventure Motorcycles now, I'll need that place to carry my bike.
If I take the rear bed from Air Trooper cut at the center of the door hole and splice it onto the back of my bobbed 4 Door Trooper body (also cut at the center of the rear door hole) I'll have enough parts to make a Trooper Crew Cab Trooper Pickup too. The frame splicing will be a piece of cake after that. The rear Trooper Doors will be the biggest obstacle as they will be squared off at the lower corners instead of fitting for the wheel wells like normal. But that's not impossible if I use the the front clip off the 4 door rear doors and make the doors rectangle. It can even use the bigger glass out of the doors if I match the doors width to the glass. Anyway, I'm going to finish up some other projects I have going first and then see if I can get Serious. Always wanted a 4 door Trooper pickup. I think that would be sweet.
It's going to need a serious p-p-powerplant too! Maybe a Supercharged 3.8L !
Updates as they Happen!

a crew cab pickup trooper would totally deserve a diesel, especially if you are using pieces of the old air trooper!

BTW, I need to get you, randii, Dan, and RobG together sometime for a conference about the finer points of finding a wife that will tolerate endless truck projects. For me, I took the approach of getting her her own endless truck project, an '89 Trooper RS. Now, unforuntely the dilemma I have created is I find my endless project takes back seat to hers. Oh well, at least I'm wrenching on a another isuzu. -Rob

Well, there just happens to be one on eBay for $3900! I just read the auction description -- the transmission costs an extra $600! That price seems absolutely awful to me.
