Getting the Wheeling Fever

I've noticed my tranny seems to shift late into overdrive. I am pretty easy on the pedal and I have to actually let off the gas to get it to go into overdrive, unless I am going down hill. It also seems to shift down out of overdrive too easily.
Is there an adjustment like a Chevy or is it purely electronic. If electronic, what is used to sense speed and when to shift?
