Getting the Wheeling Fever
I put on a 2" BL a few weeks ago. still have a few things to figure out; bumpers and T case shifter. Shifter should be easy for me bent a bit. The bumper part is a little harder for me as I can't weld.

I was wondering if anyone has fabed up some brackets to compensate for the 2" lower bumpers. I just left the rear bumper off after the BL, but I would like to get the bumper back on the truck. I was thinking of taking off the plastic ends and just using the metal center piece of the rear bumper, it will still be in the original position. The front bumper is not a bad as the rear but I would like to move that up as well.

any thoughts.

Chris

Chris,

Contact cap510 (aka carlos). He's done this lift but I don't recall what he did for the xcase shifter or if it was an issue for his 94SR.

Body Damage is Cool
Chris,

The rear bumper is fairly easy to raise, I just bent the original brakets and mounted the bumper on the top holes on the frame mount. Notice on the picture how I have to make a couple of cuts into the braket to bent it stright.
