Curious...

Besides the BesTop 51157 replacement top, are there any ways to replace the soft top windows in the Gen2 Amigo?

I found that the replacement top is available, but I only need the windows. Anyone ever looked into this scenario?

Poked around for some salvage yard finds, but came up empty.

Thanks!

Keith

You could take the windows in to a place that fixes top and have some new plastic sewn in.

You can order individual windows from the dealership, but they are expensive (rear window is $100).

Have you checked with Bestop? I thought that they sold the individual windows.

What about something like this: http://www.outdoortextiles.com/cat.php?CatName=Clear%20Vinyl

You would still need to work with an upholstery shop, but I bet it would not be to hard to cut your own and hand it off to them for the stitching.

Do you have windows now that need to be fixed, or are you in need of windows? I had mine re vinyled for $40 a side. Looks nice. Get a dark tint if you do I wish I had more tint for security reasons. I might do the rear just so I can see out the thing - the old vinyl is so cloudy.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
If there is a shop in your area that does boat tops (maybe a long shot, being a bit far from the nearest ocean), they usually are able to stitch in new windows.
