I just traded my toyota xcab with a declining v6 for a nice fj60 with a very good body. The previous owner did a 350 swap that has about 7k on it but removed the AC unit and I am having starter issues. It is a 350 out of a 76 pickup that called for a two bolt starter but it keeps grinding even after we installed some shims. It seems like it is trying to lift up and the only thing I can come up with is that it has a 3rd screw hole and there is another starter for a 350 with the 3rd bolt. I would like to hook another AC up but really have no idea where to start so chirp in if you know how.
