Need a Spot
i have a 94 ford ranger extnded cab that started acting really wierd. one morning i went out ot start it to let it warm up before i left for work it ran fine for a few minutes the stopped running. i went to start it and it wouldnt i shut the key off then tried to start it and it started again so i left for work it did the same thing 2 more times on my way to work. it has done this continusely since. i was thinking i had a dead spot in the pump motor. oh 1 more thing one of the times it did this i checked the pressure at thwe rail oon the motor and there was pressure there and i forgot i left the key on now correct me if im wrong but the minute i bleed the pressure off in the rail shouldnt the pump of come on?? i had to cycle the key to get the truck to start.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Is it just the click of the key or is it turning over and not starting. If its click of the key check you battery cables and silenoid.
