Getting the Wheeling Fever
Once you start the truck it will only run for about 3 seconds and then dies, the power to the fuel pump goes dead, we have tried a different fuel pump relay,a different circuit opening relay and a different air flow meter, and the problem is still there. i know there is a main relay that supplys power to the other relays, were is it located ?, is it in the fuse box under the hood ?. any help is appreciated. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

You'll find that information on my web page:

Also check for air leaks in the tubing between the air filter/AFM and the throttle body.

Thanks for the info, but like i said above, the truck will only run for about 3 seconds before it dies. it doesn`t matter if its warm or cold, it starts just fine, it just won`t keep running because the power to the fuel pump goes dead.

Well try the fuel pump test jumper. It bypasses most of the circuits and forces the fuel pump to stay running any time the ignition is on.
