Getting the Wheeling Fever
Has anyone bought a new 2007 Tundra? I'm preparing to buy a new 07 Crew Max 4x4 5.7L but I was curious if folks are getting some decent deals. The dealer was pretty straight forward in saying that Toyota can't quite compete with GM and Ford right now on price and they are trying to be very aggressive in busting into the US truck market. I'm looking to offer true invoice (from Kelly Blue Book) and not a dime more. Do you guys and gals think there's a chance on this? I'm going to start looking this weekend.

Need a Spot
The dealer is given flexibility to some degree. he might not be able to drop the price because his manager or dealership has listed a quota. however, sometimes the can offer up a higher trade in value if you are trading something in. I have been looking at trading my 2000 4.7 tundra in for the new 5.7 beast, but havent been able to find any "DEALS" yet. but the key is call arround, check other dealers, surf the net, and dont forget to look at other states, Ie. Delaware has no tax. good luck, happy hunting.

the Tundra initially costs more then the Silverado because the Tundra has more standard features (cd player, auto-LSD, traction control, 4 wheel disc brakes, etc). I read a month ago or so that the dealership can use up to 4 $250 vouchers from Toyota to brind the price down. you should see if they are still doing that. and read up on some negotiating skills. use invoice pricing and don't forget dealer holdback.

Here is a cd produced by one of the premier consumer advocate in the nation on how to buy a car at your price.

Good luck on the negotiations. I looked at that truck last week in Denver and it was sweet. The room behind the front seat was awesome.

Hate to send you over to another site, but... tundrasolutions.com has a 2007 Tundra forum. Might want to see what they have been paying, maybe find someone in your area and compare prices??

Toyota has said they want to flood the market with the Tundra, so they should be willing to work with you.
