Need a Spot

My buddy just got a 2007 Tundra 4x2 It came with the stock 18in rims, he wants ti fit the 285/60/18 BF A/T and I have had 2 or 3 different people tell me I can or that I cant because they will rub I need to know asap tires have been put on hold due to this matter thanks

I have no experience with that truck, but looking here: http://www.toyota.com/tundra/specs.html275/65R18 was a factory option on the 4x2. 285/60R18 is just a little shorter and a little wider. I'd think they'd fit just fine.

for such a new 4x2 truck Is it worth it? Are the stock tires shot already? Are the larger tires alot cheaper than stock size? Why spend unnecessary dollars on a truck that cant put power to all four wheels. If traction is what your goal is get a locker.

No the tires aren't shot and All I was asking was if the 285/60/18 BF AT would fit???
