Need a Spot
I just bought a 1989 4x4 toyota pickup x-cab with the 3ZVE V6 engine. At 185k miles, the engine still runs great but the body need some help since there's a big hole in the driver side rocker panel. Is there any places where they sell replacement sheet metal body parts such as the rocker panels? Also, does the 3VZE have any weakness to look at? I heard about head gasket leaks!? Thanks!

Body Damage is Cool
I use to carry " wolf panels " but dropped the line .. you'd be better off building your own in my opinion .

I'd try the dealer for those , and pay the price ..
just my 2c

www.yotatech.com for the HG campaign, of which has been rescinded. Get a compression and leakdown check done for a point of reference.

#4, #6 exhaust valves like to burn up, due to the restriction at the crossover. Answer to that one is headers.

There's a 93 FSM sticky'd here that will get you close on most things; there's 22RE info in there too, so mind what you're reading.

Roll Me Over
I found a cab that was straight for one hundred dollars and cut the panels off of itI needed and spliced them on to the existing cab. The cab I found was a two wheel drive that someone tried to make a lo-rider out of it and the floor pan had been sectioned up to drop the body over the frame rails.
