i had steam out the tailpipe and #5 cylinder was dead. Figured it was head gasket leaking or cracked block. Nope. after tearing it down i found the nuts on the intake manifold were finger tight, that gasket was leaking into the heads. Remember when replacing head gaskets etc. remember to torque everything !
