Drivers side camshaft seized in my truck.I have already obtained a replacement head out of a 91 chrysler lebaron.I took the whole assembly and from my understanding there should be no difference please correct if I am wrong. My truck is a 1989 Dodge raider 3.0 with a 5-speed. The mileage is just over 160,000. Heres my plan because I really like this truck, Is to fix up both heads(recomendations on how to do so?)and clean up the top end parts.

I would go for both heads off of the same vehicle. Even if it's the same cam as the monty, there will be a different ammount of wear. That situation will give the possibility of an unbalanced fuel/air distribution & poor running. I would also not use the other cam from the caravan in your head, as machining tolerances may be too tight ow just sloppy.

Chances are the car that I got the head from may not be there. When I picked the vehicle to tear apart I selected one with similar mileage and made sure everything turned freely. If need be i'll replace both cams. Would the roller rocker assembly affect cam timming?

No help on 3.0 from me, but I like your username. Thanks. I like what you've done with your truck. I take it yours was originally a 4-banger?

Chrysler changed to roller rockers in '90 for the 3.0L Caravan engines. The Montero/Raider 3.0L engines had roller rockers from the beginning in '89. So, as long as you have '90+ Caravan heads, there should be no difference in the valve train - just swap some Montero/Raider cams into the Caravan heads.... but at least check the cam bore clearances.
You may need a couple of longer bolts for the valve covers.

It's hard to say unless you do a compression test.... but to do that, you need to have the heads on the engine and the cams working. If the engine was ok before the cam seized, you could try just rebuilding the heads.... but the main question is "Why did the cam seize?". Lack of lubrication could be from a bad oil pump or insufficient oil quantity - both of which could also have damaged the rod bearings.
