I have a hole in my muffler so I am in need of a new one. I was just wondering what you guys recommend and how much is it.
I saw this on autozone's website supposedly its 19.99 but I dont want it to sound like a "fart can" so would you recommend it?

I also run a cherry bomb. Isn't that loud at all plus you get increased performance.

I also need a muffler and wondered if the cherry bomb is flared on the ends so it can be installed with muffler clamps or will it have to be welded? My pipes are in good condition and I want to do this as cheap as possible.

Yea I am on the same page as you. By the way what cherry bomb one are you talking about? Is it the long tubular one or the rectangle one?

the cherry bombI used is about 24-26" long 3" dia in the middle with ends to fit your pipe, its full flow, you can see right thru it, comes with different inside diameters.if your pipes are2" outside dia. get a 2" inside dia. muffler. scuff your pipe with a brush or file and it should fit right in.Mine came with a female 2" id end and my pipes slid in ,I welded it but I could have just as easily clamped it.If you have stock exhaust pipe route get the muffler with offset ends and it fits in perfect in front of the back axel on an angle.Been running mine about a year ,no problem.I like the way it sounds when Im in the mud and get in to it. If you use clamps I would use lock tite.,Ask some body how much to weld it,it might not be much more than the clamps,it only takes 15 min with the proper equipment.

http://autozone.com/R,APP1386230/vehicleId,1667802/initialAction,partProductDetail/store,/partType,01917/shopping/partProductDetail.htm heres the spot on the auto zone site, but it shows the straight one you probably want the one with offset ends <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Roll Me Over
Not sure about the Autozone one, but the Raptor Turbo 2 or 3 chamber muffler at Kragen's(Schucks Checkers) for $22-24 is pretty good. It has a nice melow throaty sound behind my 3.0 w/headers, and sound ok behind a stock 22r.
