My 89 lwb has the stock LSD if the back and when I accelerate around a turn it usually makes a weird vibration. I figured it was just the limited slip slipping or one of the tires scuffing but was told that it isn't supposed to do that. I don't know when the fluid was last changed on it.

Any info on this?

As you accelerate in a corner, the LSD tries to spread the torque to both wheels. In a turn, the outer wheel has to make up more distance on the outside radius, and the torque spread through the LSD transfers a similar rotation to the inside tire = scuff, chirp, etc. Happens all the time with my Raider.

My 1989 LWB does the same thing; IÆd say itÆs supposed to do that. Those vibrations mean that the LSD is working properly.
