Does anyone make a set of fold flat mirrors, something similar to the Jeep mirrors?

I've never driven a Jeep that had fold flat mirrors. What is wrong with the Toyota mirrors?

I've never driven a Jeep that had fold flat mirrors. What is wrong with the Toyota mirrors? I don't know about yours, but mine stick out like giant ears, some 6" or so. i have those fugly big truck style on the stainless frame. Hate them. Only good side is, there are 4 bolts holding them on that are very eay to remove... so i just unbolt 'em if things look like they're going to get tight.

I've got 'em on my 99 Runner; might be able to find some off a Taco as well. AFAIK, the old trucks didn't have 'em, unless the 3rd gen SR5's had them. Anyone?

i'm not really sure what you're talking about when you say "fold-flat," but my mirrors fold in haha. they don't really get in the way at all on the trail.

Dem dere new fangled ones that actually have a pivot pin, not a ball rotation like our old trucks. I guarantee you'd knock 'em off on the trails up here; willows/alders like hair on a dog's back.

Basically the type on the CJ's where the mirror bracket is very flat, and the mirror can be folded pretty much flat against the door. On my runners, they don't stick out like the tow mirrors on the truck, but it would be nice to have the ability to flatten them out on some trails.

Well, the stock mirrors on my 1989 4Runner can fold relatively flat. When folded, I don't think they hang out further than the farthest part of the door. I don't see much point in going any flatter than this. If you have an object this close, you are probably going to take out any mirror and/or some body parts.
I will admit that it is nice to be able to just pop them back into position and not have to readjust them.

There were 2 styles of mirrors. One set (I believe was mostly on the SR5's that were a smaller set) And the non SR5 that had the larger frame... Smaller this one is folded. Larger framed Both vehicles are 85's - - I have 87 doors with all power option - it has elec mirrors similar to the smaller styled. If your looking for a factory option....

When wheeling, it is very handy to have the mirror fold flatter than in the first pic, I've tilted a couple times next to a tree where no part of the door would touch except for the mirror mount.
I had the second style on my truck, took them off for wheeling.
