Vman OP Getting the Wheeling Fever 1990 cherokee keeps flooding out the motor. I know its strange being fuel injected. Has anyone else ever had this trouble? Vman OP Getting the Wheeling Fever Sorry big jim, Let me clarify, The motor dies out during short trips. All I can smell is gas. The car needs to sit about a half hour before being able to start again, Like if it is vapor locked. This is a friends vehicle. Where is the gas leak? Other than that I'd be looking at the fuel filter.. I have had several that would quit on me because of the filter.. The next time it stops turn the key to the run position and let her sit for a minute and then hit the starter to see if it may be the filter.
