Getting the Wheeling Fever
1990 cherokee keeps flooding out the motor. I know its strange being fuel injected. Has anyone else ever had this trouble? Should I replace all injectors? try a cleaner? or try and find out which one it is, and replace it.

Tell us what flooding out the motor means... What is it that happens? Lots of black smoke? The engine DIES? What?

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Sorry big jim, Let me clarify, The motor dies out during short trips. All I can smell is gas. The car needs to sit about a half hour before being able to start again, Like if it is vapor locked. This is a friends vehicle. I have never experienced this problem on any of my cherokees.

If you can smell gas then you should be able to SEE it! Where is the gas leak?
Other than that I'd be looking at the fuel filter.. I have had several that would quit on me because of the filter..
The next time it stops turn the key to the run position and let her sit for a minute and then hit the starter to see if it may be the filter.
