Does anyone know anything about these guys? D.O.A. Racing They say they can port 3.0 heads for 33hp and cams that are good for 12-18 hp. THey also carry throttle bodies, injectors, and bottom end parts too. All I need is a little more seat in the pants to be really happy.

Sorry, guess I got newbie fever. I only read about how people want a little more from their 3.0's, nobody mentions any improvement mods other than headers.
What is known about how these parts improve the 3.0?

Seems like a header is the best bang-for-the-buck, assuming it's accompanied by a new, more free flowing exhaust. I've heard it works best if you also have the throttle body bored out a bit so the engine can both exhale and inhale easier. Other than that, there's not a whole lot. The 3.0 just isn't made for going fast. I'm sure you could go with a more aggressive cam and some injectors that flow more fuel, but at some point you begin to compromise the best part about a 3.0, it's dependability and longevity.
