Hello,
I have a question for the experts on this site. I'm having a cooling system problem and was wondering if you guys could help me out.
I'm having to fill up my coolant resovoir every other day because it's draining so fast. My mechanic thought that it might be a leaky host at the top of the radiator to the engine block, so he reclamped it... but it still seems to persist. Are there other potential leak locations I haven't thought of?
What else could possibly be the cause of this?
Thanks.

I don't know what engine you have, or anything about your truck for that matter, but I ran a quick search and the first two posts that popped up were these: Thread 1 Thread 2 The search I ran was for +coolant +leak newer than 1 year in the Mitsubishi forums. This has been discussed a lot lately, so look a little. HTH

Where's the coolant going? Do you get a puddle underneath the vehicle or is it seemingly disappearing?

have you checked your dipstick? if it the color of the oil looks like a vanilla milkshake then that can indicate that you have a cracked head which is where your coolant is disapeering to.
