Getting the Wheeling Fever

Blew another head gasket and caused some extensive damage to the engine (3VZE). Toyota dealership put in a used engine with approx. 100k miles and seems to be running decent but there are other issues. I've noticed some water blowing from the exhaust, is this a major concern? It does not have the coolant smell like it did when the head gasket went. Just plain water, no color, no smell. I'm trying to get this thing right and keep it for a year or so and then trade it off but I don't want the next person to buy a piece of crap from me and get burned if I know somethings wrong. 1995 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 3.0L 4x4 180k miles

Does it only happen on your first start then a minute or so it will blow out dry? This should be normal as meaning that your engine is still healthy.
I'm associated with an auto supply company, if you need anything just PM me I would gladly get it for you at a low price.

Every vehicle I've ever owned dripped water from the exhaust.

I agree that I've always seen some condensation from the pipe but maybe not this much. I'm not saying I can fill a coffee cup but there's just a bit more than I'm used to. I'll wait till the weather turns warmer and dryer and still see if there's as much. Otherwise I won't concern myself about it. Thanks.

Another consideration is how long the vehicle sat (think condensation in the tank and old gas here).
Being's the engine that was dropped in was a used one, it would be in your best interest to do a baseline compression and leakdown test for your reference, esp given the 3.0 had a headgasket issue. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Concerning your heads, I know for a fact that Toyota 90 to 95 V6 engines were over torqued and the repair manual insists on torquing them at 130 pounds or so which is way over the correct torque. Check the torque on the head gasket and check with Toyota for the correct setting. I too have water coming in back of my tail pipe, and I have a 22RE.
