SQUEALING BRAKES WHEN WARM #811080 05/10/07 07:43 PM

Since the weather has warmed up,my front brakes have started squealing when slowing for corners, etc. I pulled the front wheels and cleaned the rotor & pads with brake cleaner one day when it was cooler and it stopped for a couple of days. Now it warmed up again and the squeeling is back. Also, it doesn't happen in the morning on the way to work at all, so it seems related to temperature. The rotors and pads look fine. Any Ideas?

Have you checked for a seized caliper. Sounds like maybe one or both brakes are seized and overheating when you have driven a little. When you cleaned did you notice excessive brake dust (possibly one wheel dirtier than the other).
