Need a Spot
i have what i think is a sm465 4 gear out of a 76' camper special. i have it in my mud truck now but i am having a hard time finding a np 205 case that will bolt up to it. i thought i counted 35 splines on the output shaft and the case i have now only has 28 (i think) i am new to chevy stuff so can anyone tell me what adaptor and t-case i need to complete this swap. any advise is very much apreciated!!

You will need to totally disassemble your SM465 and swap out the output shaft. An SM465 for a 4WD application will use a 10 spline output which is shorter than the 2wd shaft and will mate to a 10 spline input NP205 with the appropriate adapter. (These parts should all be available from a junkyard) You can NOT use your existing output shaft. Check ebay.
