It looks like I am getting a montero swb with a blown 3.0. I have a 1995(?) caravan with a very good 3.3 v6. Any possibility that the 3.3 could work in the monty? I have read what I could find here about possible swaps but nothing found concerning the 3.3. I do not know anything about 3.3 engines.

Body Damage is Cool
the 3.3 im pretty sure is a chrysler engine so will not be a direct bolt in, and it is mounted in a FWD fashion in the caravan so good luck.

yeah, I didn't think about the 3.3 being a Chrysler. Too bad because it is a good engine and I have the entire van as a doner. The project would probably turn into a nightmare.Guess I'll have to pass.....
