Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
Well guys after a lot ot thought and some crazy deals that I couldnt pass up I'm really selling the sportage. It's been a great vehicle for me, but with almost 200,000 miles on it and the thought of rebuilding of replacing my motor in mind I think it's time to move on. I might poke my head in to see how everyone is doing and see if there is a trail run going on, I might just join you if we go to Moab. I'm still going to be wheelin but it will be in a $100 Scout 800 running 38" swampers and a full roll cage. I'll post pics of the progress if you guys are interested, but at 100 bucks, you know I couldnt pass it up.
It was great knowing everyone and hope to see you out on the trail.

Well....sounds like you are still going to have fun and hope all the best for you. Will still try and hook up with you the next time we're in Reno. Probably will not get up there until the snow comes. Good luck with your new project and if you run into someone parting out a Sportage, give me a note. Expect to see you poking your nose around here. SOLD, That didnt take any time at all. I'm amazed. anyway thanks to all for helping me out when I needed it with the sportage. Hydra you can still find me on Myspace. Everet We gotta hook up and kill some pig. I havent been hunting in a while, I think a pig hunt is what I need to get back into the swing of things. Probably picking up the Scout next week sometime. I will post pics the pics. Buying it for $100 so I cant expect too much, But it runs and drives great. Scouts are notorious for rust around the wheel wells and this one's got it. So I'll have my work cut out for me, but I'm looking forward to the project. Thanks again all!

Have fun with your Scout. Last tear I bought a 83 Bronco for $100.00 and I could'nt believe what good shape it was in. I did a brake job and a tune up and sold it for $700.00 and you would have thought the guy was steeling it. I wanted to fix it up and drive it but decided to start working on my 61 F100 4x4, thats the truck I realy wnat on the road. Good luck with your Scout, They are almost indestructable. Dennis
