I'm rebuilding the Mikuni out of my 87 Monty and am having trouble finding the correct gaskets. I ordered a GP Sorensen carb rebuild kit # 96586 and although it has almost all the correct gaskets and o-rings to rebuild it the main gaskets are wrong. Main gaskets as in the float chamber gaskets and base gasket all 3 which are completely different from what I need. I already called Mitsu and can get the correct ones but it will need to be special ordered and probably take a month to get and I'm really shooting to have this done by the weekend.
Does anyone know where I can get the right gaskets, I already have Mitsu part #'s I'm looking for something I can pick up from Autozone or the like. Truck is titled an 87 with a build date of late 86, I triied to salvage the ID numbers on the carb but it was a lost cause, worn off. It was originally a California vehicle with the high altitude crap if that helps any.
