Need a Spot
I have had my 1997 for almost 4 years now, not a single problem, I LOVE my truck! However this morning an issue has come up and I have no idea what it could be. I started my truck as I always do, and drove down the street to where are trash cans are. My T100 is an automatic. When I went to put the truck into park I noticed that my neutral light is staying on... no matter what gear I am in. Other then the light, shifting into different gears felt normal. Now, as of this afternoon my truck will NOT start in park, I have to be in neutral for it to start. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? Any ideas are greatly appreciated because I am clueless at the moment, lol.

Thanks,
Ashley

Getting the Wheeling Fever
that one is easy...you need a neutral safety switch...it is on the right side of the trans where the gearshift mechanism is...until you get it replaced, you may have to start it in whatever position the gear lever is in which will let the starter crank...happened to mine, first had to start in neutral, then had to start in "d" because of the bad switch...keep foot on brake!!! good luck!!! dave...

Thanks! I sure hope that's all it is, doesnt sound to expensive either, lol. Is it something I'll be able to fix myself or do I need to take it to a shop? My heart hit the floor this morning when all this started happening.. I just spent $200 last week on brakes and another $170 today on new brake lines and all. Just the thought of my baby starting to poop the bed is way too much to even think about, lol.
